Frontier is designed to circulate. Our default posture is open for learning, discussion, teaching, citation, and noncommercial reuse — while commercial distribution and reprints fund the research.
Unless a specific item says otherwise, original public Frontier research, analysis, news commentary, blog posts, charts, tables, data-insight narrative, and original visual artwork are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International license (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Commercial reprints, syndication, sponsored or lead-generation use, customer-facing distribution, paid training, and incorporation into commercial products, services, or datasets require a separate Frontier license.
reprints@thisisfrontier.aiThe default content license does not grant rights in Frontier names, logos, trademarks, site software, or third-party material. Facts are not owned by Frontier. Source quotations, third-party images, and linked works remain subject to their owners' rights. If a downloadable artifact states a different license, that artifact-specific license controls.
Read CC BY-NC 4.0Frontier collects the minimum information reasonably needed to run the site, understand whether the work is useful, answer questions, and maintain relationships with readers and clients.
Frontier records content-page views, page URL, referrer, user-agent information, and a browser-or-bot classification. The Frontier content analytics table does not store raw IP addresses or browser fingerprints. Browsers that authenticate to Mission Control are excluded from content analytics on that browser. Public Telemetry relevance voting stores the candidate, vote, domain context, timestamps, and a one-way hash of a random signed browser token so one browser maintains one current vote per cluster. The vote ledger does not store raw IP addresses or browser fingerprints.
If you subscribe, we store your email address and any optional name, company, or topic preferences you provide. If you contact Frontier, request a briefing, submit a Human Edge request, report a problem, or ask about licensing or press, we store the information you voluntarily provide so we can respond and keep appropriate business records.
Ask Frontier logs questions, answers, citations, feedback, and technical usage information so the service can operate and be audited. Conversations may be reviewed by Frontier staff. Questions may be processed by an external AI inference provider. Anonymous conversations carry a 90-day expiration and scheduled maintenance deletes expired conversation records in bounded batches. Contact requests are retained separately as needed to handle the request.
Frontier uses essential cookies or local browser storage where needed for security, authenticated sessions, preference state, and internal analytics exclusion. We do not use the site to sell personal information to advertisers.
You can unsubscribe from email at any time. For access, correction, or deletion requests concerning information you provided to Frontier, contact inquiries@thisisfrontier.ai. Do not send confidential, regulated, or sensitive information to Ask Frontier.
Frontier is a professional research service and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly design the service to collect personal information from children.
Frontier content is provided for informational and research purposes. It is not legal, investment, accounting, medical, or other regulated professional advice. Technology markets move quickly; facts and judgments can change.
Ask Frontier and other AI-assisted features can make mistakes. Citations and source links are provided so important claims can be checked. Do not rely on an AI-generated answer as the sole basis for a consequential decision.
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access controls, probe private systems without authorization, submit malicious payloads, impersonate others, or use Frontier in violation of applicable law.
Frontier links to and cites third-party sources. Those sites and materials are controlled by their owners. A citation is evidence, not an endorsement.
Frontier is provided on an as-available basis. We work hard on accuracy, provenance, and uptime, but do not promise that every page, source, model answer, or service will always be complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.
We may update these terms and privacy practices as Frontier evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
